The route lab uses fictional streets and illustrative formulas. It does not make external weather, traffic or mapping requests. City profiles are editorial design briefs, not imported maps.
Future map imports
OpenStreetMap data is a planned source for road graphs, under its Open Database License. Actual imported packs will carry required attribution and derivative-database notices. We will not bulk-download public map tiles. OpenStreetMap licensing.
Weather
Calendar seasons and locally simulated conditions require no recurring API subscription. If live or cached weather is introduced, we will show the provider, timestamp and fallback state.
Creative assets
The website’s NYC image is generated concept artwork, not a screenshot of playable software or a geographically exact depiction. Logos and diagrams are original vector artwork. City card skylines are decorative motifs. Fonts are self-hosted under the SIL Open Font License.
